About this Event
Register:
Please complete the event registration form so we know who is taking photos on 9 March 2021. We will email you an information pack with all the details you need to participate.
Have questions?
We will be hosting an information session on Saturday 20 February from 1.30pm at South West Music (241 Cressy Street, Deniliquin)
This session is designed to answer all your questions. We will explain how it all works, provide a hard-copy photographic log, fact sheets about rights of a photographer and chat about the details such as how you can submit your photos.
Note: This info is the same that you will receive in your information pack on email after you register.
On the actual day: Tuesday 9 March 2021
You can take photos at any time between 12.01am until 11.59pm on Tuesday 9 March 2021.
They may be taken anywhere, and of anything in the Deniliquin region (that is legal of course!)
We encourage you to capture photos that show the full diversity of our local community going about their daily life.
We look forward to seeing people of different ages, gender, cultural background, abilities and life experiences. Don’t forget to capture your family, local workplace, buildings, signage, the price of fuel or butter, hairdresser, school bus driver, neighbour, events that may be taking place around town – anything really. The list is endless.
For inspiration visit the Gallery page.
How do I submit the photos?
We will host a community submission day where you can drop in an edited selection of your digital images and log of your photos after the event. Please remember to write down the time, location and names of the people in your photos. You can submit photos on a USB, or camera data card. We will email you to let you know when and where this is.
If you are submitting photographs on behalf of a group of people, please get in touch with us, and we can devise a way to make this as easy as possible.
